With offices in Brussels and Paris, our Industrial Safety and Risk Management is a transversal competence center that works with all business areas. Its purpose is to deliver the highest level of engineering and consultancy services in safety and risk management throughout the full life cycle of a project.

What is ISRM’s purpose and goals?
Under the umbrella of engineering a carbon-neutral future, our mission within the centre of excellence is to provide the highest level of engineering and consultancy services in safety and risk management across the full life cycle of a project. By implementing the strictest measures of safety performance, ISRM ensures regulatory compliance, safety of people and assets and environmental protection.

For each project, ISRM has three key goals:

• Project compliance
• A safe and reliable design 
• A safe construction phase

ISRM works with all business areas, with a strong involvement in our energy activities. We apply our experience to all of Tractebel’s projects, to ensure a safe and compliant design.

Describe the team.
ISRM is made up of 26 experts, 19 in Brussels and 7 in our Paris offices. Together we cover various fields of expertise, such as permitting, risk management, industrial safety and construction site safety. We also have three ENGIE key experts, four experts recognized by the authorities in the field of major hazard assessment (in accordance with the EU’s SEVESO III Directive for the prevention of industrial accidents) and one accredited safety integrity level (SIL) expert (INERIS-certified).
