Tractebel Water expert wins prestigious 2021 Indian Achievers’ Award

We could not be prouder of our Country Director in India, Shovan Ghosh, for bringing home the 2021 Indian Achievers’ Award for Business Leadership. This award recognizes outstanding professional achievements and contributions to the building of the nation.

The Indian Achievers’ Forum selected Shovan based on the impact of decades of tireless work in improving water and sanitation nationwide. Considered a pioneer in the industry, his dream is to provide safe water and access to sanitation to upgrade health and hygiene for urban and rural India. 

Shovan has been pursuing this dream within Tractebel for over ten years. He faced many challenges in the early years, but consistently overcame obstacles with flying colors. Under his leadership, Tractebel has become a preferred company among Indian clients and is now ranked among the top 5 international consulting companies in water and sanitation in the country. 

As a feather in his cap, Tractebel’s Indian office was recently named international competence center for water supply and sanitation.
