FreeZBee 

At Tractebel we are constantly developing new ideas that can bring us closer to our customers’ needs in more efficient ways. 

Most of our projects require ground supervision and our teams are often on site, therefore enabling them with remote access to technical information is often a challenge.

FreeZBee is an app developed internally to provide global technical references from past and current projects to engineers on the move through mobile devices. No matter where they are FreeZBee serves as the project encyclopaedia facilitating multi-disciplinary solutions to be consulted at any time without having to run to find a laptop or pc and connect to a server, especially if they are in some remote area.

Enhancing and customising standard solutions is our way of bringing added value to our clients. 

Through the Eyes of an Engineer: Virtual and Mixed Reality

Materializing engineering solutions for our clients is not always easy. Trying to explain the infrastructure design for the construction of a dam, the ground analysis for flood mapping, or the future smart city on paper is a thing from the past. Our motivated innovation team has made Virtual Reality a reality for Tractebel and Mixed Reality will soon be available.

Clients are immersed in the engineering solutions through a helmet and a 3D video projector making our business solutions more sustainable.

Virtual and Mixed Reality make it possible for our clients to review project designs, perform building sites follow-ups and technical reviews remotely, reducing the use of paper and even travel; delivering to our promise for a carbon neutral future.
